These are my custom guitars that I build for fun and profit. I'm always thinking about what to do next. Let me know if you're interested in commissioning a project!

Epiphone Studio Dot w/ Broken Peghead
This is an Epiphone Studio Dot I bought of eBay with the intentions of designing a WWII themed guitar. It arrived in the mail with a broken peghead unfortunately- this is how the guitar looks now.

Egyptian Les Paul Guitar
This was a plywood Les Paul body that I got cheap on eBay. I LOVE the classic Gibson Gold Top... so I decided to go with a King Tut theme.
I had a really difficult time painting this guitar gold. I have yet to find a spraypaint that will remain gold once the finish goes on- it always reacts chemically and turns metallic brown. (HEAVY SIGH). I need to experiment more, because I really do love a good gold finish... even sparkly gold metalflake... this is an area I need to look into. Moving on...
There are obvious Egyptian accents to this guitar. On the back, I used a basic ancient Egyptian translator online to write out a phrase wishing the player of the guitar the skills of virtually every celebrated rock guitarist in the past century by name. I'm sure it doesn't translate correctly, but it's the thought that counts. A similar statement is made around the entire perimeter of the top of the guitar.
The pickguard is done with gold leaf. I was practicing for the Gold Leaf Strat I did shortly thereafter.
